Ingredients (for one person):
- 1 teaspoon of green or black tea (Atay)
- 1 teaspoon of lemon verbena (Louiza)
- 1 teaspoon of anise
- 1 teaspoon of dried or fresh mint (Fliou)
- 1 teaspoon of mint (Menta)
- Sugar to taste
- 2 cups of water
Steps:
- Boil the Water: In a pot, boil 2 cups of water.
- Add the Tea: Once the water is boiling, add 1 teaspoon of tea and let it steep for a few seconds to extract the flavor.
- Add Sugar: Add sugar to taste and stir well until dissolved.
- Add the Herbs: Add the anise, lemon verbena, Fliou, and mint to the mixture.
- Steep: Let the tea steep for 5-10 minutes to blend the flavors.
- Strain: After steeping, strain the tea using a sieve.
- Serve: Serve the tea in cups and enjoy its aromatic flavor. You can add a slice of lemon if desired.
