Spinach Cooked
Ingredients:
- Half a bunch of fresh spinach, washed and chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
- A pinch of salt (only a small amount since spinach has natural salt)
- Black pepper to taste
- Hot pepper (optional)
- A handful of chopped coriander
- 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Grated cheese (such as mozzarella or cheddar)
Preparation:
Prepare the Spinach:
- Wash and chop the spinach. Steam it until it wilts and becomes tender.
Make the Sauce:
- In a pan over medium heat, heat the olive oil and add the chopped onion and crushed garlic. Stir until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the tomato sauce and stir for about 2 minutes until everything combines well.
Mix the Spinach:
- Once the spinach is steamed, add it to the pan with the sauce. Stir well and let it cook for a few more minutes.
Seasoning:
- Add the black pepper, hot pepper (if desired), and chopped coriander. Stir the mixture and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add the Cheese:
- Sprinkle the grated cheese over the mixture in the pan, cover the pan, and let it melt on low heat.
Serve:
- Serve the dish hot and enjoy its delicious flavor.
