TEA MOROCCAN |
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon green tea (such as "Nana" tea)
- 3 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
- 1 bunch of fresh mint
- 1 teaspoon thyme (optional)
- 1 teaspoon rosemary (optional)
- 4 cups water
Instructions:
Boil the Water: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot.
Wash the Tea: Once the water is boiling, add the green tea. After a minute, strain the water to remove the tea leaves.
Prepare the Tea: Pour 4 cups of boiling water back into the pot and add the strained tea again.
Add Sugar and Herbs: Add the sugar, then add the fresh mint, thyme, and rosemary (if using).
Steep: Let the tea steep on low heat for about 5-7 minutes.
Serve: Pour the tea into cups, ideally from a height to create a nice froth.
Tip:
Feel free to adjust the amount of herbs and sugar to your taste. The combination of herbs gives the tea a unique flavor and wonderful aroma!
