Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3/4 cup warm water
For the Topping:
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup black or green olives, sliced
- 1 green or red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small zucchini, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup sweet corn (optional)
- Dried oregano
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, mix the flour with yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Gradually add olive oil and warm water, kneading until you get a soft, smooth dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes to rise.
Prepare the Toppings:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a circle or rectangle and place it on a baking tray.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
Add the Vegetables:
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the sauce.
- Arrange the vegetable slices (bell pepper, onion, zucchini, tomato, olives) evenly on top.
- Sprinkle with dried oregano.
Bake:
- Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden, and the crust is crispy.
Serve:
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Slice and enjoy your vegetable pizza!
