Ingredients:

  • For the Dough:

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 tsp instant yeast
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 3 tbsp olive oil
    • 3/4 cup warm water
  • For the Topping:

    • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2 cup black or green olives, sliced
    • 1 green or red bell pepper, sliced
    • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
    • 1 small zucchini, sliced
    • 1 tomato, sliced
    • 1/4 cup sweet corn (optional)
    • Dried oregano

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:

    • In a large bowl, mix the flour with yeast, sugar, and salt.
    • Gradually add olive oil and warm water, kneading until you get a soft, smooth dough.
    • Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes to rise.
  2. Prepare the Toppings:

    • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
    • Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a circle or rectangle and place it on a baking tray.
    • Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
  3. Add the Vegetables:

    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the sauce.
    • Arrange the vegetable slices (bell pepper, onion, zucchini, tomato, olives) evenly on top.
    • Sprinkle with dried oregano.
  4. Bake:

    • Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden, and the crust is crispy.
  5. Serve:

    • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly.
    • Slice and enjoy your vegetable pizza!
